Recursions and Iterations is one of the main story quests in Control Resonant and tasks the player with finding the team below the sinkhole. Players will then have to make their way down and into a new region called the Underpass.
This region can be a bit tricky to explore and navigate at first, but the real tough part of the quest comes when you have to restore power. The guide below explains what you need to do to restore power and continue the quest.
During the quest, you will have to search the Research Site and talk to Grist. When your objective is to track the time fluctuations, you will find Ayad, who will let you know that the power is down. He will also mention the tape on the ground, and this makes it very easy to restore the power here. Ignore the tape for now and follow the yellow wires that lead to a small room with four power cores, three of which are dead.
You need to bring the charge from three other power cores that are active, but since the whole area is confusing and you have a limited time to transport the electric charge, the puzzle itself can be tricky.
Thankfully, as previously mentioned, the only clue you need is the yellow tape marked on the floor. You need to follow these one at a time, which will lead to another small room with one of the power cores active. Grab the charge and go back the same way you came. Bring the charge back to the same room where the yellow wires are going, and not any other room.
For most of the charges, you will need to make use of your Reach ability. This changes the landscape, but you will still understand how to work your way around them.
Once you power up all the power cores and the power puzzle is completed, you can return to Ayad, and you will have to check out the time anomalies in the other research sites. The rest of the quest is pretty straightforward and has a few enemy encounters along the way.
After placing the final probe, the quest will finish, and you will get the Prime Candidate Restraint (Outfit) and a Living Shard.
