The Street Fighter movie has released a playable YouTube game trailer that lets fans unleash deadly combos to achieve the highest score.
To help get fighting game fans hyped for the new action-comedy movie, Paramount Pictures has released a playable version of its latest Street Fighter trailer.
Instead of passively watching Chun-Li, Ryu, and crew deliver the pain, viewers must complete quick-time button prompts to get that all-important KO.
It’s pretty fun and a great way to grab a quick dopamine hit while at work or school, but of course, I never said that. However, if you do have a spare minute or two and want to flex your superior reflexes to your buds/colleagues, then you’ll definitely want to give it a try.
Once you’ve loaded the YouTube video below via the embedded Tweet, you’ll be taken to a virtual arcade cabinet where you use a joystick and buttons to input combos. All you need to do is hit the corresponding buttons as circles line up with the on-screen buttons.
If you manage to hit the corresponding input exactly as the circle overlaps, you’ll get hit with a lovely little ‘Perfect’ and deal damage to your opponent’s health bar. If you slip up and miss it, then you’ll be the one to take damage.
The new Street Fighter trailer just dropped. But wait… the trailer is a GAME you can play on YouTube. 🕹️https://t.co/rvgq0FWtYu pic.twitter.com/SDp5NlU5FB
Think of it like a little rhythm game, but with the Street Fighter actors just kicking and punching the living snot out of each other in the background. You’ll need to be pretty quick too, especially if you want to unleash combos like Ryu’s legendary Hadouken.
