Control Resonant has its fair share of side content that players can check out while exploring the different zones in Manhattan. While exploring, you might visit a normal store in a region only to find a puzzle inside and a wall to the side with a weird symbol on it. These are Secret Hideouts, which have a Health Upgrade reward if you can solve the puzzle, and there is a Trophy/Achievement associated with finding them all.
There are seven zones in the game, and six of them have a Secret Hideout. The guide below goes over the locations of all the hideouts and how to solve their puzzles.
The Secret Hideout is very easy to find, but there is a chance you could have missed this since most players will go along the main path, missing the puzzle behind. Make your way to the Oldest House's entrance, and to the right, you can see an electronic sign saying that the road is closed and to use the detour. Float up and go past this to spot the Atlantis Cafe up ahead, where the hideout can be found.
To solve this puzzle, you need to turn on the electric breaker box and then interact with the appliances around the shop in this order: Radio, Coffee Machine, White Coffee Brewer, Soda Machine, Microwave, and Refrigerator. This solves the puzzle, and you can go down to grab the Health Upgrade and some files.
The second hideout is inside a Wear'Em & Wash'Em Laundromat located right next to the East Park Station and slightly south of the Field Office Station. Inside, you will find a note with 0s and 1s. To solve the puzzle, you need to turn on the washing machines labelled 1 on the note and make sure the rest are turned off.
While facing the machines from the front of the store, from the left, in the first row, you need to turn on the middle one. In the second row, turn on the two middle ones, and in the third row, turn on the first and last ones. Rows 4 to 6 should be turned off, and the last row should have the first machine on. Grab your Health Upgrade from downstairs and proceed to the next one.
The hideout is located inside the Konstig building in the middle of the zone, very close to the Fast Travel point nearby. The puzzle inside can be complicated at first, and to solve it, you need to put the light on these paintings:
Inside the West Incursion Zone, you need to go south from the Fast Travel point until you spot an Urban Fresh Mart on the side. You need to put the code 1213 into the cash register, as these numbers represent the flashing lights of the soda dispenser but in a reversed order, as mentioned by the note.
