Well, that's a wrap on Gamescom for another year, which means it's time to get back to our regular weekend schedule of playin' games!
The Modern Warfare 4 Beta is up and running again for it's final weekend, but don't forget this week's Free Play Days and the hefty Gamescom discounts on the Xbox Store too!
Alrighty, let's get right into it, here's what we're playing on Xbox this weekend:
What a week this has been, eh? I'm knackered from the excitement and ready to kick back and relax with a game or two.
My plan was to continue with BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, but I reckon I'm going to be unequivocally distracted by Star Wars Zero Company. I'm yet to boot it up, but damn, it looks so good! It's like totally covered in the jam that is my interest, y'know?
Anyway, I'll probably play a lot of that and continue with Dispatch too. I'm playing it for the first time and I'm properly digging it. Hope you have a lovely weekend!
I'm heading over to London for AEW All In 2026 on Sunday, so my game time will be reduced slightly over the next few days, but I'm still hoping to keep progressing with Mafia: Definitive Edition's new Xbox Series X upgrade in particular.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is definitely on my list as well. I've never played the other two games in the series, but Craig tells me it doesn't really matter, so maybe this is the entry point for me.
