The main goal in the first chapter is to reach the library and grab the book with the special ritual to wake Faye up from her long sleep. During this chapter, you will have to fix a broken lever to lift a gate and continue moving towards the annex. Inside the annex, you will fight some enemies, and then you will meet Corentin, a man who has been attacked by the worms but has not lost his humanity yet.

In the first chapter, you will find one safe in the Radio Store Apartment as well as an ERC chest in the library building. The activator pen for the ERC chest is located inside Corentin's room.
This chapter is longer than the first one. Although it only mentions the name of Devil's Reef Hotel, you will visit four different locations throughout your journey, including the hotel.
First off, you should make your way to the church. There is one ERC crate in the church area as well as plenty of loot to collect. Once you are done with this location and managed to lift the gate, you will reach the Fire Station.
A Shotgun is located inside the store ahead of the Fire Station, and you can find an ERC chest on the second floor of the Fire Station. The goal here is to move the dead whale out of the way, but you will need a cog as well as a bottle of fuel to get the crane working.
You will get the fuel from the Fire Station, but for the cog, you will have to return to the church area and open the Graveyard door using the key you found in the store ahead of the Fire Station.
