Fortnite Override's second major update brings with it the Kingdom Hearts collaboration, allowing players to play as Sora and also wield the Keyblade as their very own Mythic weapon. That's not all, though, as the update also gives players a reason to Master their Sprites by unlocking them as styles for the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling. Here's how to do just that.
As of Thursday, September 17, all Fortnite players will get the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling once they have extracted 30 total Sprites for the Pixel Trainer Quest. This cosmetic acts as Chapter 7 Season 4's Sprite Mastery Back Bling, and to unlock additional styles to showcase your favorite Sprite on it, you will need to Master them.
To Master a Sprite in Fortnite, you simply need to get it to Level 5 and then extract it, either via a Portable Extractor or an Extraction Site. Once done, that Sprite will be unlocked as an additional style for the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling.
As mentioned above, Sprites extracted at Level 5 for the first time are Mastered, cutting down their cost to summon back with Sprite Dust and unlocking them for the Pixel Sprite Trainer Back Bling. Sprites are leveled up through Sprite XP, which is earned through the following:
The best time to level up Sprites faster is during Mastery Monday, since Sprite XP is doubled, though you can Master Sprites at any time, albeit at a slower rate. You can also trade already Mastered Sprites to skip the grind, as if you get a Level 5 Sprite from someone else, extracting it will Master it for yourself. The only exception here is the Adventure Sprite, which extracts itself and resets to level 1.
