Yes, I am fully aware of the fact that this same drive would have cost half the price a couple of years ago. If you haven't already noticed, times have changed. This is currently the cheapest price I can find for a portable 2TB drive in today's market.
The WD Elements is a portable drive, meaning it's smaller than your standard desktop hard drive and competely powers itself off the USB cable (no power adapter required). This drive boasts real world transfers of up to 100-150MB/s over USB 3.2 and uses the universal USB Type-C interface. A nice 3 year warranty is included, which is a welcome contrast to Seagate, which includes only a 1 year warranty with its portable drives.
