In Grounded 2: Into the Abyss, there's a new enemy called the Diving Bell Spider, which is basically an aquatic Orb Weaver. These nasty little creatures like to prey on everything that moves, including Tadpoles and miniaturized teenagers. That's why Diving Bell Sacs are a great way to get some top-notch crafting mats to enhance your Hollowbrook Park exploration experience.
So, if you are wondering how to open these treasure troves to get all their juicy contents, you've come to the right place. This guide offers information on how to farm Diving Bell Sacs, what materials you can get from them, and above all else: Which tool is required to open them.
To Open Diving Bell Sacs in Grounded 2, you will need the Omni-Clipper Tool Upgrade at level 2, plus a diving suit/Gil Tube to ensure you can hold up your air. Here's how to get everything ready to farm these containers:
Now you are ready to explore the banks of Skunk Pond and The Bridge in search of Diving Bell Sacs. Ideally, you would want to have the Harpoon Gun and some Bolts ready to deal with the Diving Bell Spiders.
Once you have dealt with the spiders, look around for their Sacs. These are web-like underwater structures that often release small air bubbles (they cannot refill your air gauge, so be careful with your O2).
Approach and open them using the Omni-Clipper tool. Once opened, these will be releasing lots of mats, including Tadpole Meat, Water Boatman Fin, and other insect parts, as well as other Tier 2 and, with luck, some Tier 3 mats as well.
Spiders also drop Diving Bell Spider Chunks, which you will need to craft some of the new armor and gear in Grounded 2: Into the Abyss. So make sure to have enough bag space to carry these back to the surface.
