The Naruto franchise started small, with the vast majority of the focus being on ninjas with various ninja abilities. However, as the story progressed, the scope grew wider, and Masashi Kishimoto, the creator, even went on to introduce the concept of Gods through the Otsutsuki. In the Boruto era, which is actively being led by Mikio Ikemoto under the supervision of Masashi Kishimoto, these Gods have been expanded upon significantly.
As far as the ninja world is concerned, Mikio Ikemoto has officially confirmed to us that the strongest Shinobi God of them all is none other than the Seventh Hokage of Konoha, Naruto Uzumaki. His powers, upon the activation of Baryon Mode, surpassed the God level of the Otsutsuki and are second only to Shibai.
The concept of Gods came into existence in the Naruto franchise with the introduction of the Otsutsuki clan towards the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War. We were first introduced to Hagoromo Otsutsuki in Naruto Chapter 670 on March 26, 2014, and then treated to the return of Kaguya Otsutsuki, the progenitor of Chakra and the strongest God in the series. Following the defeat of Kaguya, the threat of the Otsutsuki increased dramatically as more of these characters were introduced in the story. To counter the threat of these Gods, our main characters were also powered up adequately.
Among the Gods that threatened planet Earth was Isshiki Otsutsuki. Isshiki's power surpassed those of even Kaguya Otsutsuki and Hagoromo Otsutsuki, two of the strongest Gods from the original Naruto series. To combat the strength of Isshiki, Naruto Uzumaki had to tap into his deepest power and bring out a godly power that surpassed the Otsutsuki. This power was Baryon Mode, which was first showcased to us in Boruto chapter 52, released officially on November 20, 2020. Baryon Mode saw Kurama and Naruto utilize their Chakra as kernels to create a completely new form of energy. This process was stated by Kurama to be very similar to nuclear fusion. Since great energy was bestowed upon Naruto, his powers surpassed even that of an Otsutsuki God and were second only to Shibai. Naruto's powers were so tremendous that Sasuke openly exclaimed that they far surpassed those of Ishiki.

The only downside to Baryon Mode was the time limit. The tax that Baryon Mode came with was too immense for Naruto to handle for a sustained period of time, and eventually, he ran out of gas. That said, Naruto succeeded in taking down Isshiki with him. In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 55, which was officially released on February 19, 2021, it was officially confirmed that the price to pay for Baryon Mode was Kurama's life. With that, Naruto was left without a tailed beast after utilization of a godly power.

Baryon Mode Naruto is incredibly powerful and surpasses the vast majority of the Gods that we have seen in the Naruto universe. For one, Naruto Uzumaki was already significantly powered up at the beginning of Boruto. His Six Paths Sage Mode was strong enough to see him compete with Fused Momoshiki, who should have been stronger than Kaguya herself. Furthermore, Isshiki, who was Kaguya's partner and stronger than her, was easily dominated by Naruto using Baryon Mode. So far in the story, Isshiki Otsutsuki remains the strongest Otsutsuki God that we have seen.
