Head upstairs in the penthouse, and immediately to your left, you will find a bookshelf. There's some manga on the shelf, and you can spot that four of the middle books stick out, and they are out of sequence.

As shown above, the books with a black cover are in the order: 3, 5, 1, 9, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8. More interestingly, 1, 9, 2, and 4 have all been recently moved, which is your hint that those are the correct numbers for the password.
