Gears of War: E-Day sees players fight their way through the emergence of the locust threat and the chaos that unfolds in the following hours and days. Along the way, players will be able to complete side missions by helping civilians, find hardcases that contain useful weapon mods, and, as has always been the case with the series, find COG tags and other collectibles. If you're wanting the 100% completionist playthrough, you'll need to find all 140 collectibles in the game. To help you out, here are all act 1 collectible locations in Gears of War: E-Day.
Act 1 has 13 collectibles, spread relatively evenly across the four chapters. I've listed their locations below, organized by the chapter they appear in.
You can tell that you're near a collectible, as your controller will vibrate slightly, and you'll hear the familiar Gears of War melody play faintly in the background. It can be difficult to hear if there's a lot of gunfire happening, but more often than not, you'll be able to hear it.
