The Forbidden Rites league in Path of Exile 2 has been out for over a week now, and already, people are nearing the end of their journeys. However, most folks aren’t always sure when to quit.
In the last patch, Grinding Gear Games added a good way to off-board players who feel their adventure is nearing an end: 8 specific challenges. These challenges scale in difficulty, ranging from simple campaign completion to real endgame stuff. So if you’re looking to earn those unique rewards and get those challenges done so you can retire in peace until the big 1.0 release.
First, we have the most basic: the Riteseeker. During the campaign, you’ll notice that there are a bunch of ritual sites scattered across certain maps. When you defeat a boss inside this site, it will carry over to the next map in the chain, culminating in a tricky gauntlet of 4 bosses.
This will happen twice in each Act and once per Interlude Act. Simply beat every gauntlet to achieve this challenge.
This is another challenge you can complete while you’re running through the campaign. You might have noticed you can find certain named rare enemies that drop useful rewards to speed up your progress.
Here, there are 20 enemies to be found in random locations, but you only need to kill 15 of them to complete the challenge:
This is a very simple challenge that no doubt you’ll complete simply by playing through the game and reaching higher levels. The only thing you need to do here is collect all 8 Ascendancy points.
You just need the points to complete the challenge. So if you pay someone and just go collect the points from someone else's world, you’ll still complete the challenge. However, if you want the proper experience, we would recommend doing it yourself.
