As the legendary Gran Turismo series nears its 30th anniversary, PlayStation has announced it is celebrating the driving franchise with a new PS5 limited-edition controller themed after the IP.
Priced at £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99 and releasing in "limited quantities" on 10th December 2026, it uses the white colour of the standard PS5 pad, but decorates it with visuals and icons on the handles and touchpad. The plastic around the thumbsticks is also made to look like carbon fibre, and there are racing stripes in the middle of the touchpad.
Pre-orders will be available from 22nd October 2026 at 10am local time in your timezone, with a view to launching the controller just under two months later on 10th December.
Here are some close-up shots of the controller:
On the PlayStation Blog, Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi lent a few words to the new PS5 pad: "Thirty years ago, Gran Turismo began with a vision to share the beauty and joy of the automobile. This commemorative controller celebrates the journey we have shared together, and I am deeply grateful to everyone whose passion continues to inspire us."
The official site also shares more details on the first part of the Spec IV update to Gran Turismo 7 that's out today.
