While The Grounds may be an interesting experiment in EA Sports FC 27, not every objective you are set is entirely clear, and this is the case for the "Drop Kick Targets" quest you're set by Chloe Kelly early on during your time exploring the world map.
The main issue with the objective is that, at the time of writing, there is no explicit tutorial telling you what to do in order to complete this objective. Luckily, we've figured out how to do it, and it's actually a very simple and fun side activity to keep your aim sharp while exploring The Grounds.
For this milestone objective, you want to keep an eye out for the green shapes that appear floating in mid-air or on buildings around the world map. They will typically either be diamonds or hexagons, and some will be stationary while others may be moving.
To drop kick the targets, you first need to hold LT on Xbox or L2 on PlayStation. This readies your player with a ball. You can then aim using the reticle that appears on screen and use RT on Xbox or R2 on PlayStation to power up your shot.
Once the power gauge is full, you will automatically shoot the ball, so make sure you're timing your shots right.
Hitting a target may trigger additional targets to appear, but these are not time-sensitive and can be completed at any time.
The diamond and circular targets need to be hit with a shot to break them, while the hexagonal targets, you need to shoot the ball through them. This requires a little more concentration, as the edges of the shape are solid, and the ball will bounce out and away if you hit them.
It can take a while for the targets you hit to register with the objectives, so don't be alarmed if the rewards aren't unlocked immediately.
