Lofsong, one of the few brand new game announcements at Gamescom Opening Night Live yesterday, was a standout thanks to its unique art-driven trailer, which you can watch above.
It comes from Unrelated Studio, based in Turin, Italy, and Lofsong is its debut project. Here's the pitch from the team:
LOFSÖNG is an art-driven exploration puzzle adventure set across vast brutalist landscapes shaped by deep time. You play as a childlike figure, accompanied by a shapeshifting origami companion.
No dialogue. No map. Only the world, and what it still remembers.
The new PS Store description expands on the concept by explaining Earth has been dead for a "long time", and you're walking across its Exclusion Zone towards the centre. "The deeper you travel toward the epicenter, the further you fall into the cosmic unknown."
