The Magic Lamp quest in The Witcher 3 becomes available immediately after completing Wandering in the Dark quest, while Geralt is still near the Mysterious Elf's hideout with Keira. Keira asks Geralt to help her recover a magical lamp hidden deeper within the ruins. Immediately after completing Wandering in the Dark, Geralt will still be near the Mysterious Elf's hideout when Keira asks for his help finding the Magic Lamp. You will have two choices when she makes the request. You can agree to help Keira, which starts the Magic Lamp quest, or refuse and leave the ruins.
If you refuse and leave the ruins to continue exploring elsewhere, the quest will fail, so accept Keira's request if you want to complete the quest and solve the puzzle. Once you agree to help, follow Keira deeper into the ruins.
Continue through the ruins with Keira until you reach the room where you need to use your Witcher Senses. Examine the door in the area and allow Keira to translate the writing.

The translation provides the information needed to solve the puzzle in the next room. If you do not remember what Keira said, you can simply talk to her again and ask her to repeat the translation.
You will spot find four statues that need to be lit in the correct order. The order is important, as choosing the wrong statue causes a wraith to appear, forcing you to deal with it before you can continue.
