In One Piece chapter 1053, the Straw Hat Pirates officially rose to the status of a Yonko crew, and since then, they have been continuously growing in terms of strength and influence over the seas. In the Elbaf arc, the Straw Hats are stronger than ever before, but this crew is far from reaching its peak. While Luffy himself is likely to get a major transformation at the end of the series, one new transformation that has already been confirmed to us is Roronoa Zoro's King of Hell: 9 Sword Style. Be it in the battle against Saint Sommers in the climax of the Elbaf arc or the upcoming battles beyond, King of Hell: 9 Sword Style is a unique transformation that we are surely going to see sooner rather than later.
As the name implies, the King of Hell: 9 Sword Style is a fusion of Zoro's two most powerful forms at the moment, the basis for which is set in the Nine Sword Style. Originally, Zoro's 9 Sword Style debuted in One Piece Chapter 417, which was officially released on July 3, 2006, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31. In this battle, Zoro took on Kaku of CP9, and it was here that he summoned his demon aura for the very first time, manifesting two more heads, two more pairs of arms, and legs. This gave Zoro the ability to wield nine swords instead of just three, essentially multiplying his power by three times. With his newfound demonic powers, Zoro was able to make quick work of Kaku.

Following this event, Zoro tapped into this power once again on Sabaody, and then ultimately in One Piece Chapter 1010, in the battle against Kaido on the rooftop of Onigashima. It was with Nine Sword Style that Zoro managed to scar Kaido, just as Oden did long ago. Now, this form of Zoro is set to receive a major upgrade through his new King of Hell Style.
