Over the years, fans have been introduced to countless characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. Nearly all of them have left a lasting impression on fans, and it goes without saying that these characters are beloved by many. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, quite a lot of characters end up playing their part and then being cut out of the manga for extended periods of time. Others are simply proclaimed dead or left with ambiguous fates.
Fans have wished for these characters to return to the story, and, in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, the author delivered the return of quite a lot of these characters, just before the manga officially wrapped up.
Miguel is a character that fans saw in JJK0. He is a powerful sorcerer, with incredible strength up his sleeve. It is believed that Miguel could even impress Gojo to a certain degree, which not many sorcerers can do. In Shinjuku Showdown, Miguel returned to the battlefield to fight against Sukuna, and certainly aided Yuji and the others in an attempt to kill the King of Curses.
While Miguel did not make much of an impact, it was still fun to see this character return to the series. His compatriot, Larue, made a massive impact, and it was because of him that Yuji managed to gain his awakening.
Yuta Okkotsu was introduced to us in JJK0. He was the protagonist of the prequel series; however, after the story wrapped up, Yuta was not seen at the beginning. In fact, it took Yuta quite a long time to appear in the series again. It was only after the events of Shibuya that Yuta returned, and once that happened, it was incredibly exciting to see him take part in the biggest fights in the manga.
Ever since then, Yuta has been incredibly important. This is especially true since the part of the story where Gojo remained sealed. Yuta played a massive role in the Culling Game arc, and in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, he surpassed all expectations and reached unprecedented levels of power, as well as maturity.
Gojo Satoru was sealed in Shibuya, and fans were waiting for his return for a long time. Finally, Gojo managed to return to the battlefield after being unsealed in the Culling Game arc, after which he fought against Sukuna. This battle was absolutely incredible, with Jujutsu sorcery of the highest level being utilized.
Unfortunately, this battle ended with Gojo's death. Fans knew Gojo still had unfinished business in many ways and had hoped for his return. Much to the surprise of the fans, Gojo returned once again while Yuji was taking on Sukuna, and this return shocked us all. However, this time, it was revealed that while the body was certainly Gojo in physical form, the person in charge of the body was Yuta, who had made use of the Body Hopping technique of Kenjaku to gain access to Gojo and fight Sukuna once again.
