One of the side quests that will keep you thinking in Moonlighter 2 is the Thief Trophy. You will get this quest when you first unlock the Treasury Halls region in the Gallery biome, but the solution to it will become available later in the game, as you make your way to the final biome. Thankfully, you can use this guide to get the help you need!
The key to this quest lies in the Zephyr Fields region of Aeolia. You need to complete a full run in Zephyr Fields and defeat its final boss. Once defeated, the boss will drop a special material beside the two chests, known as the King's Left Mask.
This is an essential material to craft a new weapon at Tresna: Aetherium Heart. This is the only weapon that is capable of shattering the glass that traps Masa. Aside from the King's Left Mask, you will also need 2,000 gold to craft this weapon.
Once you have it, equip Aetherium Heart and launch Treasury Halls. Now, just attack Masa's capsule, and he will be free. This is not the end of this quest, though.
To wrap up the Thief Trophy, end your run and return to Tresna. Now, go to the south of the map, and you will see Masa at the foot of the staircase. Speak with him to finish the quest.
Aside from the Aetherium Heart that you craft just for the sake of this mission, you will get the recipe for the Combat Rod, another craftable weapon that belongs to the Spear category. It is very similar to the basic spear. However, its spearheads deal much more damage.
At its base level, Combat Rod's spearheads deal 65% damage when you call them to return by performing the special move. It's worth noting that the spearheads still return along a linear path to your spear.
In case you have difficulty unlocking the Aeolia biome, you just need to make progress in the story quest. Keep selling relics to meet the requirements of The Endless Vault, and you will eventually get to unlock Aeolia.
