Like any good adventure game, there are various secrets spread around each level. For Orbitals, it’s the various mini-games players have come to expect from cooperative-focused experiences such as this. These are collected and unlocked in your ship, allowing for extra fun after the fact.
With that said, these mini-games are not required to be acquired in order to play them, as even if you don’t unlock them, the post-game chapter will have everything unlocked regardless. Still, it’s fun to find them in the world, and that’s what this guide will help you with.
The first mini-game can be found in the first chapter. After getting off your ship and bending some steel beams, you will come across some ice that needs destroying. Immediately after that, you will reach a room with a large glass window. Instead of heading to the right, look to the left. There will be another steel beam to bend. Do so and behind it you will find the first mini-game, Jump Rope.
After taking control of the large transport with green crystals, park it and deposit the cargo. You are meant to go right after getting off to the next transport, but instead head to the right across a conveniently placed bridge. Behind the pillar here will be the next mini-game, Capy Catch.
Very early on in this chapter, you will come across a ramp that can be pulled down, and the bolts melted so you can get up. Instead of heading up and to the right, head up and to the left. Behind some piping you will find your cat Hiroto along with another console containing the mini-game Inputs Challenge.
This is around halfway into the chapter, but once you finally complete the long ride controlling the transport, you will get off at a station. Instead of going through the open door, look to the right to find a few platforms that lead to the terminal with the mini-game, Laser Tag.
In the Frozen Depths, you will need to traverse all the way to the end of the chapter. Once you reach the top of the elevator, instead of progressing forward, hang to the left and jump across a gap to find the terminal. This will unlock the Space Battle mini-game back at the ship.
Similar to the Frozen Depths, The Forge’s mini-game can be found virtually right at the end of the chapter. Once you have successfully escaped the organic monster, you will come across an elevator to take you to the end of the level.
