The first thing you will need to do in Orbitals when you gain control of Maka or Omura is to head to your ship. There are various mini-games and interactions around the ship you should take advantage of only because you’ll rarely be there.
Once you’ve played around, head to the airlock and out into your ship. The ship is not doing so hot, so grab the Scrap Hook and Liquid Launcher from the platforms directly in front of the entrance of the ship.
There will be six panels that need to be opened by the person with the Scrap Hook and then the individual with the Liquid Launcher will put the fire out.
The next objective is to head down to the engine room. Press the button when getting down the stairs to not only move the platforms from the first floor down here, but also unlock the Beam Cannon.
Do not pick up the Beam Cannon just yet. Instead, have the person with the Liquid Launcher shoot the panels on the right down. This will reveal a rather large Discharge Rod with a water icon on the top.
What you will need to do is have the one with the Liquid Launcher splash the sign, either with its standard attack or a burst, and that will rotate the Discharge Rod. At the same time, this will reveal a panel that the person with the Scrap Hook can grab on and rotate it even more. Do this until it locks in place.
For the next two panels, the person with the Scrap Hook goes to the platform and grabs the Beam Cannon. Have the person with the Liquid Launcher spray the right panel while the person with the Beam Cannon shoots the crystal on the left.
This will reveal a boiler that needs to be maintained. You will see a red balance section on the boiler. You will need to ensure the water levels and the heat levels are the same. So, make sure the levels are within the acceptable range until the bar on the right fills up.
