One of the biggest additions in Graveyard Keeper 2, when compared with the original, is that players can run their own factory with conveyor belts and zombie workers. This all happens in the Factory beneath the player's base, accessed by clearing rubble from any of the other underground rooms, such as the Writing Basement. Players will need to unlock a lot of technology, have advanced materials, and lots of resurrected zombies to join their workforce.
The entire Factory requires power, and there's only one way to generate power. At the sides of the Factory, you can build Zombie Carousels using the following materials:
You can then place up to four zombies on these carousels, and each will provide more power. These zombies don't need any tools or Perks, so use your weaker zombies here. As you build more conveyor belts and workstations, you'll need to build more Zombie Carousels and fill them with undead workers to meet higher power demands. The Bioreactor does not generate power for your factory and is instead required to make Zombie Power for town orders.
Try to unlock the Belt Master Perk for yourself, as the power provided by each zombie will jump up to 10.
Your Factory is nothing without a healthy supply of raw materials. Stockpiles for the following can be found at the southern end of the Factory:
To fill these up, you will need zombie workers mining, chopping, or digging, with porters delivering. For example, at the sawmill in the Forest, you can build a Lumberjack Stand, and by placing a zombie with an axe here, they will cut down Logs. These will be transported to your Factory Stockpile as long as you build a Porter Station and place a zombie here.
This works the same in the mines to the north of the sawmill for gathering Iron Ore and Coal. The quarries for Stone and Marble are slightly different, as you'll also need a Zombie Supplier Station and a zombie here to take the stones from the miner and put them in a chest. This is also true for gathering Clay and Sand to the west of these quarries.
You can also make your own deliveries and place raw materials in the stockpiles. The stockpiles also appear above ground in your construction yard.
