Aniimo has a ton of moving parts, and you’ll need to understand a lot of them to get the most bang for your buck. One of the more intricate aspects of the game is the Homeland.
This unlocks after you complete the first bit of the story, but with how much information is thrown at you, it can be overwhelming. You won’t need to get it all down right away, but it’s better to get a handle on it sooner rather than later.
This guide will explain the kinds of Aniimo you’ll want in your Homeland and which ones specifically would be a good fit. It will also include a lot of information that the game doesn’t provide you with.
The Homeland in Aniimo is basically a very cozy offshoot of the main game. You’ll unlock this after completing the first few story quests and be able to visit it whenever you like.
Once you visit the Homeland for the first time, you’ll have a few tutorials to complete, and for the most part it’s pretty basic. Much like Palworld, you’ll build all manner of things on your land and have your Aniimo handle the rest.
This is going to differ based on how far into the game you actually are right at this point. If it’s still early days, you can put some of the Aniimo you have as extras into the Homeland, provided they meet a few requirements.
When you hit the later hours of the game and have a ton of Aniimo, it becomes much more important to have the best ones doing the work. Otherwise, you’re basically going to lose out on a ton of progress while you’re offline.
Once you have some buildings set up and head to the Aniimo Management Screen, you’ll notice that some numbers are green, some are regular, and some are greyed out. These are an important aspect of telling you what you need in your Homeland.
