Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software data for Japan for the week of August 17, 2026 to August 23, 2026.
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT was the highest selling new release of the week, debuting at 7,613 units on Switch 2, 4,002 units on PlayStation 5, and 3,538 units on Switch for an opening week total of 15,153 retail copies sold.
On the hardware side, Switch 2 sold 20,734 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 6,397 units, the Switch family sold 6,111 units, and the Xbox Series family sold 134 units.
Rankings 11 to 30 will be announced on August 28
