The Fragile Hourglass is a Special Item that you can come across in Halloween: The Game. Much like most items, finding it relies purely on luck, as it can spawn in random locations as a lootable item. Unlike most items, the Fragile Hourglass seems to spawn on cabinets, tables, and atop other surfaces inside houses and buildings. However, it is also possible to find it inside lootable areas like drawers, so search high and low to find it.
As the Fragile Hourglass is a Special Item, it will have a purple outline around it when you come close to it. Be sure to look out for this vibrant glow when attempting to add it to your inventory.
Remember, you can only carry three items in total in your offhand, on top of one weapon. Be sure to drop your least important item if you wish to carry the Fragile Hourglass.
While many players seem to be reporting that the Fragile Hourglass highlights escape items like the Escape Key and more within a 10-meter range, this does not seem to be the case. Instead, the Fragile Hourglass is an item that is mainly used against Michael. When you throw the Fragile Hourglass at Michael while he is down, it will temporarily keep him from getting back up.
The best time to use the Fragile Hourglass is when attempting to arrest Michael. If you manage to surround him with Police and knock him down, throw the Hourglass on top of him and then close in for the arrest. This is by far the most surefire method for taking Michael out of the game, thus making the item the strongest in a player's arsenal.
