During the eighth chapter of Star Wars Zero Company, a bounty hunter named Cly Kullervo will show up at The Den and offer to join your team. The Mandalorian warrior is willing to forgo her usual fee in exchange for access to Zero Company's intel network and help taking down her marks after using the intel to track them down.
It's an offer that seems a little too good to be true, so when you're asked whether you want to hire Cly, you may well be assuming that there's a catch. To cut a long story short, there isn't, and you should definitely hire Cly in your Star Wars Zero Company playthrough. However, if you'd rather explore the choice a little more before doing so, you've come to the right place.
There is no downside to hiring Cly. In fact, failing to do so will lock you out of two unique missions and deprive you of one of the best operators in Star Wars Zero Company. It will also prevent you from unlocking the "The Mandalorian" and "Word of Honor" achievements, which require you to beat the two aforementioned missions and max out your bond with Cly. With all this in mind, you should hire Cly without giving it a second thought.
If you choose the "Don't Hire Cly" option, Neesh will ask you to reconsider, and you'll be given a chance to change your mind. If you choose "Really Don't Hire Cly" here, Cly will leave the Den and never return, locking you out of the "Best Served Cold" and "Without Honor or Humanity" crewmate missions, as well as two of the game's Trophies / Achievements.
True to her word, Cly will join Zero Company as an operator if you decide to hire her, and you'll be able to use her in missions however you see fit. Her Combat Jump talent allows her to get around the battlefield at breakneck speeds, making her useful in both rescue and fixed-point objective missions.
At the end of Chapter 9, Cly will come to you with a mission, at which point, refusing to help Cly will result in her leaving Zero Company forever. Her second mission becomes available around halfway through the penultimate chapter, with Cly once again leaving The Den and never coming back if you refuse to honor your end of the deal. As long as you help her as promised, though, you get one of the best operators in SWZC and access to two of the game's best missions, so it really is a no-brainer.
