This manga returned after a 2-month-long break and did so in quite some style, as it officially set up some of the biggest battles as well as plot developments in the entirety of the series.

Minato was known to be the fastest ninja of his generation, as well as many other generations to come after him. Now, he is being slowly replaced by none other than his own grandson, Boruto Uzumaki.
Boruto Uzumaki was confirmed as a successor of Minato early on in the Two Blue Vortex series. Boruto Uzumaki's first usage of Minato's Flying Thunder God was revealed to us in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4, which was officially released on November 19, 2023, in V-Jump Issue #1.
Since then, he has continued to evolve this technique. Unfortunately, it was revealed to us that Boruto's version of the Flying Thunder God was not as refined as that of Minato. Boruto cannot just plant his seal on an object and teleport to it immediately. Now, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 37, released officially on September 17, 2026, the young Uzumaki is officially evolving this power even further. Previously, Boruto could only teleport using his own chakra and imbue it into different objects. Now, Boruto Uzumaki is attempting to learn how to teleport by sensing the chakra of other individuals. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 37, Sarada Uchiha imbued her own chakra in one of her earrings and left it for Boruto Uzumaki to utilize so that he could track her and teleport to her. Now, Boruto will have to learn how to teleport using the chakra of another person, which makes his teleportation technique even better than ever before and once again reiterates him as the next Minato Namikaze of Konoha.
