Today, Urban Games has officially announced the release date for Transport Fever 3, along with some extras. The Swiss developer behind Train Fever and Transport Fever, along with publisher Paradox Interactive (Cities: Skylines), will be bringing Transport Fever 3 to both consoles, PC and even Mac and Linux on the same day. The game will be available for new on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, along with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The launch date is officially September 29, and pre-orders begin today with exclusive bonus content available. Owners of Transport Fever 2 will benefit from a 10% loyalty discount.
The loyalty discount will be available to put towards both editions of the game. A Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition for Transport Fever 3 are available, and that loyalty discount is available for those who purchased on the same platform as Transport Fever 2 up until 14 days after release. The Deluxe Edition will be the ultimate collection for transport enthusiasts. This comes with legendary vehicles, iconic landmarks, exclusive maps that have been handcrafted, wildlife and music. There will be eleven legendary vehicles across air, rails and roads. This includes the supersonic Concorde and the legendary Trans-Europe Express.
Two architectural wonders, including the Eiffel Tower, add landmarks to cities. Players who pre-order the game will receive three special additions to the game. The TS Queen Mary, a legendary ocean liner, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Asian Elephant. The third edition available is a Collector's Edition. This is initially limited to 10,000 copies, and it will be the first in the series. The Collector's Edition includes a digital Deluxe Edition game key, and a hero statue inspired by the game's cover artwork.
More that is included with that Collector's Edition will be a 200-page illustrated hardcover art book celebrating the vehicles of the Transport Fever series, a themed card game that brings the world of transport to the tabletop, a music box, collectible keychain, sticker set, poster and a special thank-you card. This encompasses everything a fan of the series loves. The Collector's Edition will be available in the new official merch shop. Shipping will be available for most major markets across Europe, the United States and Asia. Pricing details are below for the three different editions.
Urban Games is an independent video game developer that is housed in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The company was founded back in 2013, and it released its first game, Train Fever, a year later. The original Transport Fever released in 2016 with the sequel launching at the end of 2019. The sequel sold millions of copies across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The Deluxe Edition will be the ultimate collection for transport enthusiasts.
Transport Fever 3 will be the biggest and most ambitious title that Urban Games has released. The game puts players in charge of their own transport empire dating back to horse-drawn wagons, steam trains and paddle-streamers. Players will traverse through times and generations of transportation products with 300 vehicles over a century of transportation. The game will include a narrative mode and will be the ultimate city sandbox for players who want to build without limits. We were invited to a preview event back in February in New York City, and you can check out the early experience of Transporft Fever 3 here.
