Publisher Shueisha Games and developer LASTWONDER have announced HOSHiN ENGi Re:surrection, a roguelite action game based on the Chinese mythology fantasy HOSHiN ENGi. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC via Steam in 2027.

An all-new roguelite hack-and-slash from Shueisha Games, set in a fantasy world of immortals, demons, and mythic beasts drawn from ancient Chinese mythology. As a young disciple of the legendary sage Taikobo, you’re thrown into a land plunged once more into turmoil.
That world comes from HOSHiN ENGi, the Chinese-mythology fantasy by Ryu Fujisaki serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, now past 22 million copies in print.
