The Resident Evil movie has absolutely smashed any expectations viewers had for the project, with Zach Cregger's take on the series' survival horror formula managing to smash several box office records. Alongside the newfound popularity of the movie came a massive demand for anything Resident Evil-related, which caused the promotional Organ Transplant Popcorn Bucket to sell out almost instantly in theaters.
While some players were still able to get a hold of them either by calling ahead or snagging them before the film blew up in popularity, most fans were completely out of luck. Thankfully, if you were bummed about missing your chance initially, its manufacturer is offering one final chance to buy a piece of the film for yourself.
As spotted by Wario64 on X, both AMC and Cinemark have made the Resident Evil Popcorn Bucket available in a pre-order period from now until October 14. After all pre-orders are in, the Popcorn Bucket will be produced and shipped out starting on the 8th of December and is estimated to arrive between Dec 10th and 14th, arriving just in time for Christmas if you need a gift for any horror fans.
Both AMC and Cinemark will only ship the Popcorn Bucket to the United States.
Although both sites unfortunately don't offer the free bag of popcorn you would have gotten from buying it in-person, it's still the exact same design as if you picked it up right off the shelf from your local theater, which you can buy up to 3 of per order.
Although this isn't the first time AMC and other sites have restocked the popcorn bucket, each time they have sold out within hours of the listing going live. AMC has also made the disclaimer that this "will be the final production run of this collectible," meaning that if you don't buy it now, you'll be left paying hundreds for resellers or scalpers to get one for yourself.
While it's hard to believe there won't be more merchandise made to capitalize on the success of the film, this could still be the last time we ever see the Medical Bag Popcorn Bucket for ourselves, before its producer moves on to the next gaming adaptation with the upcoming Silent Hill film.
