World of Warcraft's next chapters in the Worldsoul Saga have been officially revealed at today's BlizzCon, with WoW: Eclipse and The Last Titan coming next. BlizzCon seems to be huge this year. So far, Blizzard has shown a return of StarCraft as an open-world shooter in 2030, a new Warcraft 3 game shadow-dropped, a whole new game in World of Warcraft Forever, and now also the next two chapters of the Worldsoul Saga of WoW Retail.
World of Warcraft's Worldsoul Saga started two years ago, and now, a new trailer for the big Eclipse patch for Midnight and a teaser trailer for The Last Titan are beginning to show its end. Eclipse shows the infamous villain Xal'atath at the doorstep of the Titans-protected World Core of Azeroth, and she manages to enter, promising that she will become one with the Worldsoul. The teaser for The Last Titan, instead, shows a colossal figure in the snowy peaks of a rebuilt Northrend about to shoot massive laser beams at the camera. Eclipse is the 12.2 patch for the game, so it's still a few months away. World of Warcraft's 12.1.5 patch is adding a 7-million mount and new content, and it's coming later this year, so Eclipse seems to be an early 2027 release. On the other hand, The Last Titan is confirmed for 2027, but it's most likely coming toward the end of next year.
