Information on 13 unannounced LEGO sets reportedly targeting a January 2027 launch has surfaced online via a credible source. All of the newly leaked sets are said to belong to LEGO's Friends theme.
The timing could make this an especially notable wave for Friends, which LEGO officially launched in 2012 and will therefore celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2027. The company previously marked the theme’s 10th anniversary with a dedicated Friendship Tree House set (#42652) and seven other January 2022 releases, though there is currently no indication that the newly leaked products are specifically intended as anniversary models.
A late August 2026 report from reliable LEGO leaker Unibricks identified names and prices for 13 Friends sets said to be launching in January 2027. The alleged lineup ranges from two $9.99 models to the $99.99 42719 Heartlake City Shopping Mall, with 42728 Heartlake City Art & Design School sitting just below it at $74.99. The leak is the latest sign that LEGO's early-2027 slate is taking shape, following a separate report detailing eight Super Mario sets supposedly planned for January.

Even without images or piece counts, the leaked names paint a fairly clear picture of the subjects expanding the LEGO Friends theme at the start of 2027. Animals, food, parties, shopping, and everyday Heartlake City locations account for virtually the entire list, making this a considerably more playful assortment on paper than the recently leaked early-2027 LEGO Botanicals lineup.
The prices also suggest a wave spanning several common LEGO Friends price brackets. Two sets are listed at $9.99, three at $19.99, and only two above $60, while the alleged 13-set assortment would cost $489.87 at the leaked MSRPs. However, with piece counts and age recommendations still unknown, the pricing offers little insight into the relative size or value of individual models. Such uncertainty is common this far ahead of release, as recently illustrated by the partial leak of purported 2027 LEGO City sets.
Assuming the January 2027 release window is accurate, recent precedent points to a December 2026 reveal for the newly leaked sets. The main January Friends waves for 2024 and 2026 were unveiled around December 2 of the preceding year, while the 2025 lineup appeared on LEGO's online store on December 11, 2024, according to cached site data reviewed by GameRant. Unibricks' leak does not indicate whether any of the 13 rumored sets will be available for pre-order. Although LEGO typically reserves pre-orders for its more expensive models, it is possible for the rumored Friends sets to skip the pre-purchase period but still get advanced listings rather than getting shadow-dropped.
