There doesn't appear to be a limit and the gift cards can be used to buy anything from the online LEGO Store. Though it's absolutely worth noting that only three gift cards can be used at once.
This deal was first spotted by IGN's LEGO editor Chris Reed. He tested the promo code at various price points and there doesn't seem to be any sort of limit to how high you can go and still get that 10% off. That being said, you can only enter amounts up to $250 and there does appear to be a limit of 50 gift cards. With all that said, how much you save with this deal depends on how much you're willing to spend.
If you're hoping to use this discount to buy the LEGO Minas Tirith set, you will need to do a bit of math to stay at that three gift card limit. Thankfully, the website lets you do pretty much any custom amount. The quickest way to get to the price of the set is to buy three gift cards for $216.66 and apply the promo code.
Once you have your three gift cards in your inbox, you'll need to head over to the online LEGO Store to buy the set. As a LEGO Exclusive, this is the only place you'll be able to buy it. It's currently on backorder, so it won't ship right away. With such an expensive purchase, you're sure to qualify for a GWP (Gift with Purchase) as well. LEGO gift cards don't ever expire so you can spend them whenever you want.
