By now, pretty much everyone I know is aware that The Witcher 3 is about to be remastered, and I, for one, cannot wait. Of course, at this point, you might be thinking, if I’m going to play through this majestic game once again, what decision am I going to make, and what build should I play?
Well, luckily for us, there are a bunch of interesting ways you can play as Geralt, each one with its own individual unique quirks that differentiate themselves. And naturally, different people will enjoy different builds. One style might be more powerful in a certain person's hands, while others might be looking to get out of as much combat as possible.
So if you’re looking for a bit of inspiration before restarting The Witcher 3 for the umpteenth time, take a quick look at this list!
If you want to be a crafty killer, brewing concoctions, slicing your opponents and watching them die slow and painful deaths, this build is definitely up your street.
Here, we’re going to be relying on the equipment from the Viper School that can be received during the Hearts of Stone expansion, alongside the Viper Venomous Swords that give a good chance to inflict poison. You can also add the Morana Runestones to your blades to increase the chance of poison further.
Naturally, you’ll want to focus on fast attacks at the beginning, giving you the most reliable chance to inflict debuffs. Then you can start allocating Alchemy skills like Poisoned Blades, Delayed Response and Synergy to work with the Toxic Blood Mutation. With all of these combined, you’ll be one slippery serpent!
This build is relatively similar to the previous one, apart from the main fact that we’re going to be utilizing bleed instead of poison.
