Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered arrives on the Switch 2 this week, and if you're wondering how the Nintendo version will perform, we've got some details.
Speaking to Nintendo Everything, Omega Force's producer Tomohiko Sho revealed the development team "adjusted the game so that it can handle the same number of characters [on-screen] as the other versions" when displaying the large-scale battles. So you can expect the hybrid version to run at a variable frame rate of "30 to 60fps".
As for the resolution in the Switch 2 version, players can expect the title to display at 2560 x 1440p in docked, and in portable mode, the experience will be an "upscaled 1920 x 1080 image". Sho says the team is also considering adding graphics-priority and performance-priority modes as a future update to the title.
Once again, this title rolls out for the Switch 2 on 1st October 2026. A demo was also recently announced, and Omega Force has also revealed it's adding online two-player in a free post-launch update.
