Locate the treasure drawn inside the Briar Sloughs treasure map after defeating a bandit camp in The Blood of Dawnwalker. An X will be marked on the map, and Coen needs to find the location to dig up a treasure that was hidden a while ago. These quests take time, sometimes up to 3 hours in-game, but the rewards are usually worth it. You can always save before wasting time and re-load the save if you don't like the treasure. Here's where to find the location of the Briar Sloughs treasure in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Head to the Bandit Camp located southeast of the Eerie Knoll Shrine just north of St. Tyna's Grove to find the Treasure Map: Briar Sloughs. When you aprpoach the camp, a bunch of bandits will automatically attack Coen and one of them is a boss.
Make sure to defeat all of them and loot the bodies. Next, approach the big chest and search it to get even more loot, but most importantly, the Treasure Map: Briar Sloughs. The map shows a small river with a big tree and X is marked there.
To find the Briar Sloughs treasure in The Blood of Dawnwalker, travel east from the Briar Sloughs South Shrine until you find a big tree surrounded by enemies. Kill them all and approach the big tree.
If you want to dig out the treasure, Coen must sacrifice one time segment. Save here to reload later if you didn't like the loot.

The Mercenary Ring is flexible and works for both day and night build. The Artisanal Cardinal Braces, on the other hand, are great for a Vrakhiri, as humans don't need claw damage.
