Developer Arc System Works has published a blog post about its recent fighting game, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, touching on the PC version's issues before diving into a bunch of incoming updates.
The game was released by Sony in early August on both PS5 and PC, and the latter version sadly had some teething troubles that meant it was pretty rough to play in the opening days and weeks.
In the post, director Kazuto Sekine celebrates the game's launch and shares his gratitude for the positive reception before turning his attention to the PC launch.
"However, we also recognize that the launch period was impacted by stability issues on PC, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused our players," he writes.
"It was never our intention for players to be unable to enjoy the game as we envisioned, and we are currently making progress on improvements to the PC version so that everyone can enjoy the game to the fullest."
In addition to further improvements on PC, the blog post goes over a few things Arc System Works is looking to adjust going forward.
For example, it's going to make adjustments to the way inputs are handled, in order that they're as smooth and responsive as possible, following complaints about dropped inputs.
Another area of focus is the frequency of assists. Basically, the team is looking to increase the cooldown time for neutral assists so they aren't being used constantly.
