Akira Toriyama's magnum opus needs no introduction, with the original manga series having run in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The original anime series wowed audiences from 1986 until 1989, though its sequel, Dragon Ball Z, was what put Goku's story on the map for many international audiences, particularly those watching in the US. Anime fans are in luck, as Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a remaster of the Battle of Gods Arc, is right around the corner. This week, it was announced that the newest Dragon Ball series is coming to Netflix, with new episodes slated to air weekly starting October 17.
Premium Bandai has revealed a new collection of 12 unique Dragon Ball pins, all of which look just like applique patches. Fans can choose to buy a single random blind box for ¥1,100 (around $7) if they want a surprise, or, if they want all 12, they can buy a complete box for ¥13,200 (around $84). Preorders are open now on the Shop Nui website and are scheduled to run until October 25, and items will ship around March 2027.
Those needing even more fresh merch are in luck, as in late September, a massive Dragon Ball LEGO set was officially announced. Slated to hit shelves in November 2026, the model will contain a whopping 1,764 pieces and feature both Goku and Shenron. Fans wanting to add this to their shelf will need to be prepared to pay a pretty penny, as the highly anticipated set will retail for $179.99. Additional Dragon Ball LEGO sets are on the way in 2027, and while no official details have been announced, previous leaks hint at a Goku vs Raditz set, along with Frieza's Spaceship.
2026 has been a great year for Dragon Ball merchandise. Last month, a Dragon Ball luggage collection was announced, while a Dragon Ball Z-inspired Converse collection nearly broke the internet in July.
