Kaguya, a bullet hell shoot ’em up “friendly for beginners,” will launch for PC via Steam in 2027, newly revealed publisher AMATA Games and developer Flypot.LLC announced.

Kaguya is a classic vertical-scrolling bullet hell shooter with a gentler difficulty curve. Battle your way through six stages (planned) using bombs and power shots to take down waves of enemies from all directions!
Join Akari and Akane on a fully-voiced journey as they chat their way through intense battles, wiping out an army of AI machines! This game was created by a developer who loves bullet hells but isn’t great at them, so it’s built with accessibility in mind. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the genre, this is your chance to enjoy a “kinder, gentler bullet hell experience!” Of course, for seasoned players, we’ve got you covered too—with three difficulty modes: Normal, Hard, and Hell!
The game features full voice acting throughout!… But since dodging bullets might keep you a little busy, we’ve included a Library Mode so you can enjoy all the voiced lines at your own pace. Dialogue will also change depending on how you play—try to collect them all!
