CyberLeek has gone quiet, but that doesn't mean Grand Theft Auto has stopped leaking; 192GB of GTA 5 development data has surfaced online this morning.
This was brought to the community's attention by YouTuber TJGM, who shared their findings to X on the scrapped Liberty City expansion, describing it as "MASSIVELY expanded," as well as screenshots of the GTA 6 map, albeit "rendered in very low quality." Others soon began digging through the almost 200GB of files, uncovering early GTA 6 assets, GTA 5 beta vehicles, and even assets from the scrapped Agent Trevor DLC. TJGM also found cut dialogue from GTA 4 character Brucie Kibbutz, who was supposed to feature in missions with Franklin.
This is no doubt why Rockstar wanted the fan-made Liberty City mod taken down.
New discoveries are still pouring out, which is to be expected with a leak of this magnitude. X user affmal, for instance, found a list of Agent Trevor missions, starting with 'True Lies' and spanning 'Jetpack', 'Satellites', 'Underwater Sub-Base Attack', 'Defend City', 'Bond Car', 'Invisible Shootout' and 'Defend Mansion', to name a few. @JasonFromGTAVI (which, to be clear, is not an official account) meanwhile shared scrapped assets from the DLC, showing a crew of astronauts and what appears to be a satellite in orbit, while TJGM uncovered the expansion's mansion interior. As for the beta vehicles that were scrapped, affmal dug out a combine harvester, crane... dog, and an EOD bomb-disposal robot.
The leak itself isn't strictly new, however. It's the full package of GTA 5 code that Lapsus$ member Arion Kurtaj, better known by their handle 'teapotuberhacker', extracted in 2022. As such, the GTA 6 assets are incredibly outdated and shouldn't be taken as representative of the final game.
One of the biggest-selling games in history, Grand Theft Auto 5 takes you to open-world San Andreas. Assume the role of three characters, Trevor, Franklin, and Michael, as they take different paths in their criminal lives. The streets of Los Santos await in GTA 5.
