The Palworld Official Card Game is teasing its third set, revealing both the name of the set and the release date. The trading card game, based on mega-popular monster-catching survival game Palworld, launched its first expansion in late July.
Pocketpair and Bushiroad shocked fans in early 2026 when the companies officially revealed the upcoming Palworld Official Card Game. The collectible card game debuted on July 30 with the release of the Dawn of Palpagos set, featuring cards of fan-favorite Pals such as Daedream, Chillet, and Jormuntide. Bushiroad has already revealed some ambitious plans for the rollout of the card game as well, with the Legends Awaken expansion planned to release at the end of October, alongside the second set of Trial Decks. Now, Palworld is getting fans excited about the first set planned for 2027.
Bushiroad dropped one of the first teasers for the Palworld card game's third official set on the game's social media accounts. The post revealed that the game's third set will be titled Eternal Ascent, with more information about the expansion planned to be released in the coming weeks. The developer also confirmed the release date for Eternal Ascent, scheduling the Palworld Official Card Game's third set to launch on January 29, 2027. Palworld is also gearing up to release its first official accessories, though Palworld's Sleeve & Card Set Vol. 1 was recently delayed.
While the announcement did not provide many details about Eternal Ascent, Palworld's third set is set to kick off 2027 with a bang. The expansion is expected to introduce new Pals to the game, featuring a mix of Palworld's helpful early-game Pals and strong late-game creatures across the TCG's four colors, as well as some new Colorless cards that can be used in any deck. Bushiroad also invited players to pre-order booster boxes of Eternal Ascent from their local game stores within the official post.

Eternal Ascent is sure to include plenty of exciting new additions to the game, but fans of Palworld won't have to wait until January for more cards. The Palworld card game's second set, Legends Awaken, is scheduled to launch on October 30, bringing 100 new cards to the game for fans to collect. Bushiroad has already begun to tease some of the most notable Pals featured in the expansion, including Chillet Ignis, Jetragon, and new versions of Pals already in the game, like Broncherry and Daedream. The Palworld Official Card Game is off to a hot start, and Bushiroad and Pocketpair will look to maintain the game's momentum throughout the coming expansions.
