The Steam Frame feels like a viable alternative to the Steam Deck for people who also want VR gameplay in their lives. It's a sequel to the Valve Index, but one that has very different outlooks on what VR gaming should be. Expect VR convenience, wireless innovations, and excellent controllers, and you won't be upset. Go in looking for lossless visuals and top-drawer audio, and you'll be pining for Valve's first headset. The Frame isn't without its imperfections, namely its battery life and price, but the fact that this thing can take your flatscreen Steam library on the go in the same way your Steam Deck can is a major feather in its cap. I'm not sure it's the salvation the VR industry is looking for, but it's an excellent headset that will give PC gamers a port in the tumultuous storm that is the VR market right now.
