Most of the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave side quest objectives are incredibly blatant and show you exactly where to go and when with markers, but “The Hunt for Gisco’s Treasure” makes you work for things. You don’t actually need to leave Dagsion to finish it! But you do need to pay attention and have looked around the city to figure out where to go to find the hidden item.
You’ll find “The Hunt for Gisco’s Treasure” by talking to the Old Man near the thermae. I saw it in the capital on 11/4, and it expires on 11/27. The first clue is “A colossus gazes pon Baal’s waters. On the stone where she points, something worthy of note.” This clue is referring to the giant statue of a person pointing near Vandahl Merchant Company in the southern part of town. Halvin can often be found standing there. An examine prompt will appear there during this questline, and interacting with it will show the general direction where the statue points.

Gisco’s Treasure is actually very nearby the statue in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. There’s a secondary path from that dock area to the staircase heading to the main part of the capital. If you send a character there, you’ll find another spot you can examine on the stone railing along the road. Doing so nets you a jewelry box.
Take that back to the old man, and you’ll get an item and some other bonuses. As a reward for your efforts, you get one Morfis Almanac that you can give as a gift, 80 Renown, and 5,000 gold. Seteth, Tialla, and Ursula all love that book if you give it to them.
