A new DLC drop for Elden Ring has officially been released, and it's introducing new content four years after its initial launch. Along with two new starting classes, weapons, and armor for your Tarnished, players can also find three separate armor pieces for your faithful steed, Torrent.
The first of its kind in Elden Ring, this armor gives Torrent a new look that can really complement your own fashion choices. If you're looking to snag some armor for your mount so you can truly complete your fashion, here's where to find all three Torrent armor pieces in Elden Ring.
Our first piece of Torrent armor is only available once you've progressed far enough through the story and killed Godrick the Grafted. This is one of the first major bosses you'll encounter, so if you're new to the game, make sure you're properly leveled up before fighting him. For basically everyone else, if you already have him defeated on a save, you can get the armor right away.
Teleport to the Godrick the Grafted Site of Grace, and then run up the stairs towards the room containing his throne. At the throne, hang a right to enter a side chamber, which will now contain a chest. Inside the chest will be the Tree Sentinel armor for Torrent. There are no other prerequisites or quests needed to unlock the armor besides unlocking Torrent and defeating Godrick.
The next set of armor is the Funeral Night, and it is located to the north in Leydell. Again, if you're new, you won't have access to this location for quite a bit unless you rush getting both medallion pieces for the Great Lift of Dectus. Head to the Outer Wall Battleground Site of Grace and look for a cliff with a large stone staircase running up the side.
Hop on Torrent and ride up the staircase until you reach an area with a ton of massive stone tablets sticking out of the ground. Take a right when you reach the tablets and look for a burial site along the cliff with a ton of large greatswords sticking out of the ground. To the left of the greatsword graveyard will be a long sword that has a glowing item marker in front of it.
Interact with the item to unlock the Funeral Night armor for Torrent, so even your mighty steed can embrace their inner edgelord.
Finally, the last armor piece for Torrent is located to the west at Ranni's Rise. To reach this location, you will need to progress through the Caria Manor and defeat Royal Knight Loretta. Beating this boss will drop the barrier blocking the path to Ranni's Rise and the other mage towers in this region.
