A Roblox YouTuber was tackled and removed from the Roblox Developers Conference after running onto the stage during CEO David Baszucki’s keynote while wearing a “kids deserve better” shirt.
The creator, Emathiio, uploaded a video titled “roblox is completely unfixable” on September 10, one day before the conference incident. The video criticizes Roblox’s direction, its relationship with the community, and the platform’s ongoing problems with child safety.
RDC 2026 is taking place in San Jose from September 10 to 12. According to Bloxy News’ event guide, the invite-only conference includes an opening keynote from Baszucki, creator presentations, and announcements about the future of Roblox. Bloxy News is also tracking the event through its RDC 2026 hub.

Footage reposted by Emathiio on X shows him running toward the stage during Baszucki’s presentation while wearing the shirt. Security guards immediately move in and tackle him in front of the audience before escorting him out of the conference.
The clip does not show what happened before Emathiio reached the stage, and it is unclear whether he was an invited attendee or how he accessed the area. Roblox has not publicly commented on the incident, and there is no indication at the time of writing that Emathiio was arrested.
The apparent protest comes amid continued criticism of Roblox’s approach to child safety. Dexerto previously reported on a petition calling for Baszucki’s removal after the platform faced backlash over its handling of predators and inappropriate behavior.
The controversy also follows Roblox’s dispute with Schlep, a creator who recorded videos aimed at exposing alleged predators on the platform. As previously reported by Dexerto, Schlep said Roblox contacted him months after banning him.
