The combat has been updated, the visuals improved, and a whole host of other QoL additions have transformed the game into the perfect RPG, even more so than it already was. With a brand-new DLC on the horizon and a sequel to follow, I would highly recommend brushing up on your Witcher lore before turning the page to those new chapters.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers one of the genre’s most unpredictable open worlds, where you and your AI-controlled pawns can tackle griffins, ogres, and much more in fights that can collapse into chaos in seconds. Much of the original game's DNA remains present, but the sequel improves many its features, from the vocations to the transformative nature of the world around you.
As if that wasn't enough, Dark Arisen has just arrived, a massive DLC adding a new frozen region with its own stories and quests to discover and enemies to take down, along with a dozen new dungeons to the base game.
