Pearl is a playable Ice character in Honkai: Star Rail. Her best build requires the Colors for Tomorrow Light Cone, the Dreamlit Actor Relic set, and the Broken Keel Planar Ornament set. Pearl exclusively operates in Elation teams because many of her effects need four Elation characters to work. Building an Elation team around Pearl means you always need to pair her with Yao Guang since she's a first pick for any Elation team. After that, you can add the Elation Trailblazer and one Elation DPS, or choose to go with two Elation DPS units, like Sparxie, Evanescia, Aventurine Waveflair, and Silver Wolf LV 999 in Honkai: Star Rail. Colors for Tomorrow is Pearl's signature Light Cone and her best-in-slot. The 5-star Light Cone gives Pearl a large amount of DEF% through its base stats and passive effect, helping you build towards her DEF goal. Additionally, it increases the Elation DMG taken by enemies while healing her allies and regenerating a portion of Pearl's Energy.
Colors for Tomorrow is perfect for Pearl because it complements her kit and gives her extra utility, like allowing Pearl's team to deal more Elation DMG to enemies.
Mushy Shroomy's Adventures is one of the best F2P options for Pearl because it increases her Elation DMG while also increasing the Elation DMG taken by enemies. Since it's a 4-star Light Cone, you can easily make it S5, maximizing the Light Cone's passive effect.
Elation Brimming With Blessings also works on Pearl as an F2P option. She won't benefit from the Light Cone's ATK% buff, but Pearl does target an ally with her Ultimate, which means she can also grant them extra Elation DMG when using Elation Brimming With Blessings.
When the wearer uses their Skill or Ultimate on one other ally target, increases the ability target's Elation by 16%, lasting for 3 turn(s). If the wearer has 10 or more points of Certified Banger, additionally increases all ally targets' CRIT DMG by 12%, lasting for 3 turn(s).
Building Pearl with the Dreamlit Actor set is very good for her kit since it grants her the utility she needs as an Elation support in Honkai: Star Rail. When casting Pearl's Ultimate, she grants her target ally extra Elation and Crit DMG. That effect remains for three turns, which is enough for Pearl to get her Ultimate back and keep this effect active throughout combat.
