Chelsea star Cole Palmer has been handed a Twitch ban after he streamed EA Sports FC 27 early. He took to Instagram to complain and request that his account be unbanned, while images have been shown of EA in his live chat, hinting that he only needed to wait a few hours for a pre-arranged live stream.
The whole situation is quite hilarious, especially considering it looks like Palmer only needed to wait two or three hours before he would have been allowed to play the game without the risk of repercussions. We also spotted some interesting numbers on his Instagram post, showing that he might have spent some considerable cash on FC Points already, or perhaps EA have just been very generous. Either way, We won't be getting nearly as much value from our Ultimate Editions!
Footballers don't have a great reputation when it comes to intelligence, which has always seemed incredibly harsh. Looking at this whole situation, however, it's hard to understand why Palmer couldn't just wait a few hours for the pre-agreed stream that we assume wouldn't have resulted in action being taken by Twitch.
Looking at the second image in the above Reddit post, you can see what appears to be the official EA Twitch account hinting that there was a pre-arranged live stream to be held by Palmer at 6pm BST, meaning he only had to wait a couple of hours before he could stream the game without the risk of punishment. The comment from EA says, "Errr Cole, weren't we going to do this a bit later? We'll be live at 6pm UK!"
It wouldn't surprise us if the ban applied by Twitch was swiftly lifted, but it certainly won't be in time for him to make a 6pm livestream.
In the image posted to his Instagram account, we can see that Cole Palmer's FUT account already has over 1.8 million coins and 229,000 FC Points. The FC Points alone have a value of over £1,550, and it's not clear whether or not this was gifted to Palmer or if he paid for the points himself.

Another aspect of the image worth noting is that he has already made progress in the Season Pass, with 710 points earned towards the 1,000-point goal, suggesting he is still on the first level.
