Change the Program Guide - The Outlast Trials

Return to the Television Studio to face off against the Kress Twins in "CHANGE THE PROGRAM", a new MK-Challenge for The Outlast Trials. This trial requires you to reposition antennas, re-record cassette tapes, and avoid death at the hands of a Prime Asset while you try to figure out what goes where. While initially puzzling, this guide will make it so that every Change the Program trial you get becomes a breeze, provided your team communicates!

Antenna 1 is your starting area, and it's essentially the tutorial. To begin, look at the monitor, and you'll see "A". Now move Transponder A into the position shown, then rotate the wheel so the speaker faces the direction the arrow points (in the screenshot above, that's to the left).

If done correctly, the Transponder will have an electrical charge above it. Now take the cassette from the Transmitter and use it at the Converter Station, which you can find by listening for its whirring sounds. Converting a tape takes 10 seconds and makes +3 sounds, so keep that in mind when enemies are near!

The next area has three more Antennas, and I'd recommend starting with Antenna 4 (in the dark). You will have to move Transponder A and Transponder B into the positions shown on the monitor, but they might be blocked by random debris that you need to move out of the way.

The reason I'd suggest starting with Antenna 4 is that it's the most out-of-the-way antenna, so you can get the Transponders into position and then use that entire section to discard obstacles that are blocking additional Transponders to the remaining Antennas.

Stay on the roof and complete all three Antennas before you take their cassettes, as the tapes themselves are not unique to each Antenna; they are all the same.

On solo, you only need to do one cassette per Antenna, but with multiple people, you will have to do two cassettes per Antenna.

If you're playing co-op, two players should task themselves with distracting the Kress Twins downstairs and converting the cassettes while the remaining two players move the Transponders into position.
