Ned Luke, the actor behind Michael in Grand Theft Auto 5, has announced that he will play the game one last time before GTA 6 releases, and is promising a rare appearance from Steven Ogg, who plays Trevor.
While plenty of actors have become famous off the back of their roles in Grand Theft Auto, none of them have quite captured the attention like GTA 5’s three protagonists.
Ned Luke, who voices Michael, is constantly around the Grand Theft Auto community, even streaming GTA Online. He has had to deal with people trying to swat him in that time, however. Shawn Fonteno, who starred as Franklin, is always happy to talk GTA, while Steven Ogg, who played Trevor, is more recluse and onto other roles.
With Grand Theft Auto 5 finally set to give way to GTA 6 in November, Ned is looking to celebrate the journey with one final playthrough – and he is promising to see the game out in style.
During his September 2 stream, Ned admitted things for him will “not chill out” when GTA 6 launches as he will be playing it.
“But, first and foremost, I’m gonna do what we’re gonna call the final mission. I’m going to do one final, last playthrough of GTA 5 and don’t we’re gonna livestream it, I think we’re gonna record it,” he said.
“We’re going to bring in guests. All kinds of different guests, big shots, small shots, whatever, celebrities, non-celebrities, pro athletes, whatever I can get – streamers! I’m going to get Solo on, I’m going to get Steven Ogg – yeah, that’s right! Steven is going to come on and make an appearance.”
The actor didn’t give a firm date for it starting, but said it would be coming up “pretty quick” for fans.
